Firstly, I have a new layout, again, because I love playing with layouts and headers, if you couldn't tell.

I love the simplicity of this layout and it must be a total shock to you all I'm sure to discover that it features Amber. I'm in the process of making an Amber moodtheme too, because there needs to be one.

Secondly the server that runs both my websites is down and it is driving me nuts because it means that a) all my graphics are currently inaccessible and I can't upload new ones which is pissing me off because I have a new batch of headers and wallpapers that is nearly ready for upload and b) I can't upload any content for Anne Dudek Online which is pissing me off badly because it is coming along really nicely now and I think it is going to be a pretty kick ass fansite when it is done and online.

I'm still here, just very busy right now.

My sister is staying with me at the moment and man has that lead to some nerdy scenes. Such as the two of us discussing the relative merits of the various incarnations of The Doctor (Ten pwns all.) Each of us sitting at a computer trawling wikipedia whilst a third computer is being used as a video player/jukebox, both of us reading fandom!secrets and discussing them and the list goes on an on. My sister has been fairly easygoing thus far (she has a tendency to get very highstrung and stressed when out of her home environment) and generally fun to be around.

I also have a sociology essay due next Monday and I've started to seriously research/write it which is also taking up time.

Also my sister being here using the internet and some asshole in my building stealing my internet means that I'm currently suffering though 12 days of 64kb hell so flisting is taking forever.

That said I've been kind of glad to miss the House/Wilson fans acting like total fuckwits, God I hate House fandom, I've been in fandom for 15 years now and I have ever seen a group of people behave as consistently ridiculously as the various House shipper groups do.

Also ( this (X-files spoiler pic) ) caused my sister and I to squee for about three hours straight when we saw it and speaking of The X-files does anyone know if the trailer for XF:IWTB is going to be attached to Ironman in Australia as well? My sister and I are considering seeing it and if the trailer was attached then we would 99% go.

11 days, my iPod is out of warranty by 11 days and has chosen now to suffer irreparable harddrive failure.

Thankfully the guy at Comp Now in Malvern has taken pity on me and is giving me a trade-in on my dead iPod so I'm getting an 8GB iPod Nano. I can't afford a new iPod Classic 80GB and I don't really want one, firstly I'm getting a bike and I am generally exercising a lot more these days so I want something I won't have to hold (I was going to get an iPod shuffle to have for bike riding etc. before I found out the warranty had expired on my Classic so a Nana is a good compromise) and secondly, I have had two iPod Classic 80GB now and both have suffered inexplicable harddrive failure. The first one was 11 months old and the second one was only four months old so I have no faith in the product. Most people I know have iPod Nano's and are much happier than I ever have been with my iPod Classic.

My only thing is with the exception of knowing that I don't want silver I have no idea which colour to get so I have a poll:

ETA: Ended up getting the pink because it was all they had in stock after having one of each yesterday other than the unwanted silver ( I love silver as a colour and for jewelry but don't like it on iPods, odd). It is very shiny and small, I'm almost scared of it. The pink is bright and bold as opposed to the other colours and I like that. Her name is Stacy.
