Bob Hawke, a former Australian Prime Minister, chronic womanizer, and the man who essentially gave the nation a public holiday over a sporting event was just interviewed on the ever classy tabloid current affairs program Today Tonight.

The interviewer, Anna Coren asks him how he keeps his marriage strong and he answers that sex has a lot to do with it. Anna Coren then points out that for most 78 year-old men sex is a rare event and Bob Hawke replies with:

Those poor unfortunate bastards.

Australian politicians are made of win.

I'm watching the NBC Today show, because my sleeping patterns are completely screwed up right now and Matt Lauer just described a news story as "serious business." I LOLed. Hard.
