Now that I have got my whining out of the way...
Lets talk about happy things like how awesome new apartment is, how much I love my new high-speed cable modem and my new HDD/DVD recorder, in that order.

The apartment, as mentioned in the previous sentence is awesome! I'll post photos just as soon as my mum sends me my camera cable (which I did have with me but my sister decided that taking mine was easier than finding hers.) My neighbours are actually considerate people! After four years on and off in student housing I didn't think thhat considerate neighbours existed but so far so good here. I have a double bed for the first time in 10 years (I had one the last few months before we moved to Mount Annan and the house with the worl'd smallest bedrooms) and it is seriously the Best. Thing. Ever. it is so comfortable! I haven't slept so well in years. Also on my list of things I love is my giant, soft eggplant coloured couch where I would be sitting right now if Telstra hadn't run out of wireless modems meaning that I'm teathered to my desk for at least another week. There is much more awesome about the apartment like how pretty it is but I think I have blathered on enough about it for this particular post and any way photos express the pretty better than words.

TELSTRA I LOVE YOU!
I have 8mb/s cable internet (soon to be with home wi-fi.) I know that 8mb/s isn't all that fast these days but cable saves me from needing a landline and 8mb/s is much faster than 512kb/s which is the fastest internet I have had to this point and last year I was stuck on ISDN at 64kb/s so I'm full of glee about having truly decent internet for the first time ever. I'm also full of glee about my HDD/DVD recorder and it's 250GB HD. I'm not so happy about the fact that I have a digital TV but can't recieve digital signals through the ariel we currently have here at my building but I'll deal, they are going to have to replace it soon anyway because Melbourne will be converting to fully digital broadcasting by the end of this year.
