Was searching for the videoclip for the new Crowded House single She Called Up (a song that after three months of listening to it, I still can't figure out if I like or not) on youtube when I came across this clip:



It is of Neil Finn performing Better Be Home Soon at the 2005 ARIA awards as a tribute to Paul Hester. It is one of the most heartbreaking things I have ever seen. I was there and I will never get over how small and vunerable Neil looked on stage that night, I really thought he was going to lose it, I know I did. I was fine until about half way through the video tribute to Paul they had before Neil came on stage, then they showed a photo of Paul and his daughter and I totally lost it, I managed to compose myself a little before Neil came out on stage but when I saw him I started crying all over again. I rang my mum afterwards and she was crying too, probably not a good thing considering the fact she was at work at the time.
